switching between ppt files

just upgraded from 1997 to 2003...

when two or more files were open i used to be able to switch between these
by pressing 'ctrl + tab'. this no longer works. any idea how to get it back?

i am aware i can treat each each file as a new program and use 'alt + tab',
but this annoying as there are often many other files open as well.

PowerPoint 2003 and 97 are VERY different, so spend some time learning the new
menus and tools. But, in case you haven't already done it, go to Help > Check
for Updates and install Service Pack 1.

Then go to Tools > Options > View and click on "Windows in Taskbar". That will
give you a quick and easy way to switch between open presentations because each
open presentation will show in your taskbar. Also you can click on Windows in
the PowerPoint toolbar and all open shows will be listed and you can click on
the one you want. Finally Ctrl+F6 will switch between open presentations.

Another thing you might want to do is go to Help and do a search on keyboard
shortcuts. A few of them have changed.

thank you, ctrl + F6 is what i was looking for...
bit of a stretch for the left hand when compared to the previous one, but i
guess Microsoft have some extremely sensible reason for changing it.
