Based on my knowledge, Outlook only support modem to make a call to the
contact. This behavior is by design, and there is no workaroud available
now.

Hi all,
If I have several communication devices installed, how can I choose
which
one to use in Outlook 2003?
I want to use Windows Messenger to make calls but when I try to call
someone
in my contacts, Outlook uses the modemline, even though I have not
selected
it under connections.
Where can I change this?
