Switching Horizontal rows with Vertical columns

I have been working on a giant spreadsheet for two and a half days now.

It is set up with dates horizontally across the top and well#
Vertically along the left side. I set it up this way so that I coul
just highlight a whole column of numbers and get the sum at the botto
with a press of a button. My boss would now like for me to "switch th
X axis with the Y axis" so to speak. He wants the shorter list o
wells across the top and the longer list of dates Vertically. So the
my numbers and totals need to switch from being Vertical to horizonta
as well.

What is the easiest way to do this? I know you can just switch th
axes in a chart, but this is a spreadsheet so I'm at a loss. I'd lik
to not have to spend another day and a half cutting and pasting. An
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance Guen~:

select all the cells, use Edit/Copy, then Click the "new location" for the
top-left-cell (even a new worksheet), then use edit/paste special and click
the Transpose checkbox. Don't forget that there are only 256 columns!
