Switching HTM editor in I.E.

"Has this helped me," you asked. Not yet, it hasn't. Resetting
from within Frontpage can't be done when you can't open
Frontpage because of two or more missing dll's.

Before attempting to reinstall Office 2000, I decided to download
Frontpage Express, hoping that I could establish it as my
html default editor. But not an option.

So, it's beginning to look like my only alternative is to reinstall
Office ... unless someone (hopefully) has a better solution.
How about a repair of Office.
And, perhaps the missing dlls are the reason that you can't set Frontpage as
your default HTML editor.

Everything now OK after a custom reinstall of Office/Frontpage.

What actually happened was very peculiar. When I originally
wiped and reinstalled msOffice 2000, I had inadvertently installed
a slightly different Office 2000 bundle -- which didn't include
Frontpage. Even tho the Frontpage directory remained intact,
some of the requisite dll's never got installed.

Even tho I was able to download and replace the missing dll's,
I still was unable to successfully open Frontpage.

Thanks for helping out.
