Switching Views in browser causes obscure errors and form closures

I am working on an InfoPath form that has 8 Views. I have published my Form
to SharePoint where it is running under InfoPath Forms Services.

When I switch views in the InfoPath Client, I have no problems, and when I
use the design checker it reveals no Errors. It does however, show browser
optimization messages indicating that the form will require round trips to
the server for certain fields on my form.

When I switch from the default View 1 to View 2, the form returns a
non-descriptive error and offers me options to Start Over or Cancel.

When I switch from the default View 1 to any View other than View 2, the
form goes immediately to the "Form Closed" page.

I am not finding much on troubleshooting this kind of problem. Any
suggestions?

Is there a way to access verbose errors behind the simplistic error message
I have received?

Is there a known issue with view switching in the browser presentation mode?

Thanks,
Jeff

It sounds like a problem i had a while ago, still having, just know the
solution now.

The problem for me was using secondary data sources that were not bound
directly to elements in my main data source. not sure why the problem just
started to manifest. everything was ok one day, crap the next. what i had
to do was create an element in my main data source for each secondary data
source then set the default value of that new element to any element in the
appropriate secondary data source.

hope this helps

Thanks, Ed.

I found some good blog posts about this that matched up pretty closely to
your experience.

I couldn't pinpoint the exact problem, but a close review of my secondary
data connections (looking for anything odd and fixing it as I went), coupled
with removing xml reserved characters from my list data seemed to do the
trick.

Props also go to the following blog posts for helping me out
