Sychronizing protected actuals

Hello:

We are having some trouble with our Project Professional / Server 2003.

We work with managed periods, and users track hours on tasks day by day.

For some projects we have updated hours from PWA to Project professional and
everything has gone allright, we get the message of "you need to save the
project" and then PWA doesn't show those updates anymore, but when we study
carefully the project in Project Professional those hours do not appear
anywhere.

We then try to synchronize with Tools --> Synchronize with actual hours and
nothing happens !. We have hours in PWA that don't get synchronised with
project professional and we don't know how to fix this !!

Can anyone help !?

Well, you need to call PSS (Product Support) since this
is a well kwown issue, esp about synch : do not use it.
I would suggest that you Ask for a fix to PSS, or avoid
managed periods. I think SP1 does not solve that.
This recommenadation is just my opinion... you have the
choice.
