sychronizing with Palm Pilot

How do I store my calendar information locally so that I
can sync it with my palm? I can sync everything except
my calendar and I am getting quite frustrated. I've
tried synchronizing while I am "online", offline, with
outlook opened and not. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
