Well, that's it!! As a once unswerving, devout, follower of
Symantec/Norton products, I am absolutely flabbergasted at their
response to the problem that they've inflicted on so many users.
Instead of proposing that it's a fault/problem in *T*H*E*I*R*
software, and switching off the Office plug-in option is a solution,
they've twisted the target of the fault to having to change a setting
in a *M*I*C*R*O*S*O*F*T* product (Internet Explorer). In other words,
"It's not our fault, it's Microsoft; change their product setting".
At the expiration of existing licences, I'm off to other options,
without hesitation.
And I'll be recommending to all of my clients that they do the same.
You know it makes sense.
