Symbol font in report

I have a database of conference abstracts. The data are held in Excel
tables, which are linked into the Access database. One of the fields
is a memo field that contains special characters (greek and math
symbols). They are displayed correctly in Excel, but Access
substitutes them out, resulting in gibberish. I would like to produce
a report to list the abstracts correctly (including the symbols). Is
this possible? (I am currently using Access/Excel 2003, but I can
switch to 2007 if that makes a difference.)

TIA

Check the Excel field's format style (html, rich text, ?)
and Font. Then try to use the same approach in the Access
form/report text box that displays the memo field. It may
be as simple as just setting the text box's Font property,
but maybe not.
