I cannot insert a sybol. word shuts down with an error.
What is wrong?

This could be an indication of a damaged printer driver. Try deleting and
reinstalling your printer.

This is usually the symptom of a corrupt printer driver and usually deleting
and reinstalling the printer will resolve the problem. However,
occasionally, the Symbols font is corrupt and that may need reinstalling.
