Symbols

I am trying to put (c) on a sheet and it keeps changing it to the copyright
symbol. How do I stop this from happening?

Removet it from the Tools > Auto correct menu.

Try Ctrl+Z right away and this will "undo" the Auto Formatting.
Might be faster.
