Hi,

I know how to sync a single public folder, but is there an easier way to
sync a public folder and include all levels of sub directiores related?

Thanks in advance

You have to drag all folders to favorites in order to sync them to offline
files. Subfolders too. Depending on your v. of Outlook you may be able to
easily select all PF favorites for syncing after you've done this.

Thanks for the reply. I have figured out how to move all subfolder in one
click to the favorites folder. And I have it set up to automatically sync
changes (including new subfolders). My problem now, is when I go to select
which folders to sync to my local machine, I have to check each box next to
each subfolder. Lots of work! Is there anyway to select all subfolder from
the syncronization screen?

Thanks in advance

Great - how? I've never figured out how to do that (then again, I've never
really tried).

What version of Outlook? In OL2002 you can go to your tools | send/receive
settings menu, properties of the send receive group (edit), right click on
the top-level folder of your choice, select all subfolders). If you're using
OL2003 cached mode, the properties of your Exchange server service (tools,
email accounts, view/modify, exchange (change), advanced has a tickbox for
use cached mode for pf favorites).,

1) Click on your folder (under Public Folders) once to select the folder
2) Click on 'File'
3) Choose 'Folder'
4) Choose 'Add to Public Folder Favorites'
5) In the 'Add to Favorites' window that has appeared, click on 'Options'
6) Check the 'Add sub folders of this folder' and the 'Automatically add
new subfolders'
7) Also select the 'Add all subfolders' beneath each
8) Click on 'Add'

If you find out any further info about the next step to sync to the client,
please let me know!

Missed answering your second question. I am running OL2000...

Ah - alas, you have to select them all manually then. You can do this in the
properties of your send/receive group by just ticking boxes, tho, which is
easier than right-clicking on each one.

Thanks for the tip on adding subfolders to favorites - I'd never seen it!
