sync mobile device with outlook 2002 and vista

Hi
we have 2 mobile devices, ipaq rw1950 amd ipaq rw6828. both worked fairly
well with xp and active sync. have just bought a new desktop which has vista.
ihave downloaded wmdc, but, although i am told the sync is successful, the
result in outlook is not good! some data has transferred, but not into the
correct spots. notes are in tasks, some calendar items can be found in
contacts, but not all. calendar just has an error message.
do i need to upgrade outlook, if so, will it work with the 2 mobile devices?

Outlook 2002 is not fully compatible with Vista:

You might want to consider upgrading to Outlook 2003 or 2007, both of which
are compatible with Vista.
