Sync multiple notebooks error message

When I try to open a notebook on my desktop that was created on my laptop,
I'm getting an error message "OneNote needs a password to sync some of your
notebooks. Click here to see the list of sections and notebooks that require
passwords."

I can not figure out how to resolve the password issue. Where do I go to
enter the password for the notebook so that it will fully sync?

I'm having a similar situation ... although in reverse. I can open all my
notebooks on my desktop, but when I'm at home and working on the laptop
offline, I get the same error message -- even though all my notebook
directory (and all subdirectories) are set up to synch. Although when I
connect to to my VPN, I can open the notebooks without any problems, so there
seems to be a synch problem.

When you click on the message, do you see a list of sections/notebooks?
IF you click one of the items in the list, does it prompt you for a
password?
