Sync OneNote 2007 with Motorola Q

M

Maik

I try to sync the Motorola Q with the OneNote 2007.
I get:

"Sync failed with PDA"
&
"Microsoft Office OneNote: attention required".

Also in the "Windows Mobile Device Center" I get:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click
Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If
you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Catastrophic failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED))."

Details:
"See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box."

....PLEASE HELP.

If you google "Motorola Q" and "Onenote" you will find a website called
everythingQ. There is a whole line of discussions going on over there about
this subject. The website is down right now because they are moving their
server, but when they are back up that might help. I seem to remember there's
a at least one guy who has successfully done this.

Sorry, it seems that you might be seriously misunderstanding things:
I do not think that it might be **MY** task to google around!!

In case you want an answer for a question, pls ask the question in an
understandable way.
Otherwise just keep goggling around :) ;-)

I couldn't find any answers from all the links listed below.
I did uninstall and reinstall Windows Mobile which didn't correct the
problem. I reinstalled OneNote Mobile from the Tools/Options menu in OneNote
and now it seems to work. I had to do some cleanup inside OneNote but now it
syncs from the handheld to the computer. It still doesn't sync PC to
handheld. (I am not sure that it ever did.) Windows Vista 64b.
Hope that helps,
C

It sounds rather strange that you can sync the one way but not the
other.

Just to make sure:
Are the pages you want to be synched from the PC to the mobile device
placed in the notebook "OneNote Mobile" in the section named after your
mobile devices ?
