Sync with WSS 3.0

Hi,

I've setup a SharePoint Workspace in Groove 2007. The initial download
worked fine, how ever if a click the sync button later no new documents are
download from SharePoint into Groove.

Is this a bug or feature?

I am presuming you mean using a SharePoint files tool and not a 'SharePoint
workspace' ?

could you confirm your SharePoint deployment - is that v2007?
(Groove 2007 only works with SP 2007).

Yes, MOSS 2007 and Groove 2007.

Does the Groove Server make a differences?

I know G2k7 works well with WSS3 and MOSS2k7..
check your firewall settings, etc.. - may be a network issue (if it worked
before).
The Groove Server 2007 (I presume you mean DataBridge) - You can invite a
GDB identity to your space but that would be another configuration.

Send me your vcg (via email below) if you'd like to test it out. I have a
GDB up & running.

This type of sync issue is being addressed in a public update. As I
understand it, the sync index gets out of sync, and so does not see any
additions or changes. As a workaround, either 1) create a new sharepoint
files tool, and sre-sync, or if there are other members of the space, assign
them as synchronizer. This forces the client to look at the whole index,
rather than just the updates, and should resynchronize.
