Synching Active Directory with Enterprise Resource Pool thru Web Access

For the past few weeks, I've been attempting to
synchronize the Active Directory (containing a listing of
over 5000 names) with the Enterprise Resource Pool through
Web Access. When I synchronize, I recieve the following
message: "The Active Directory group failed to synchronize
with the Enterprise Resource Pool". Microsoft came out
with a hotfix for it, but that has been unsuccessful
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;835736). To expand on that, what I find puzzling is how
the "groups" will correctly synchronize, yet the resource
pool still does not.

Does anyone have an idea as to how to approach this
problem? Thank you!

We have had the same problem - tried the same fixes and
had the same result. Some of our groups have successfully
synchronized, some haven't, and the resource pool has
never been successful. We have given up after spending
much time on this and will probably wait until after SP1
to try again. I'm curious if anyone has successfully
synched all groups and the resource pool to AD?

Hi-
This might be a little late, but hopefully this helps:
Try synching the ERP AD group FIRST before synching the
security groups. I have found that you need to have the
ERP synch first and then the Security groups. When you
synch the ERP first, it places all resources into the Team
Members Security Group, then synching the AD Security
Groups updates those resources to the appropriate Security
Group.
Hope this helps,
Linda
