Synching & old calendar items disappear

When I synch my BB with my computer, all of my previous calendar items and my
'reminders' get wiped off both my BB and my computer. Where are they? Can I
retrieve them and put them back on my computer & BB?

Do you have a backup? if not, they are probably gone. See
http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/missing_appt.asp for instructions to reset
the BB so appointments are kept longer.
