Synchronizing Calendars on One PC

I want to maintain my own private calendar using my Outlook profile. I
periodically need to log in to our parent company Outlook to view other
calenders. I would like my calendar to automatically update so that when I'm
sharing, I see my current calendar and the other calendars.

All I've seen is a file/export file/import. That's a bit much every time I
want to compare calendars.

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!

Excuse me for asking but why do you need a 'private' calendar when you're
trying to share most of the info anyway? You could mark certain appointments
as private so others can't view their detail.

We are not trying to share most of the info. That's the whole point. My
calendar is 98% not related to the group. I'm not an employee of that firm
and they do not need to view my calendar. They DO want me to view theirs,
though, so I can coordinate appointments with outside clients. I know that I
can mark appointments private. That's a bummer of a fix, though unless I can
set up a default for all appointments being private unless I choose otherwise.

Thanks for any help you can provide! It is GREATLY appreciated!

I think import/export might be the only option. Is the company using an
Exchange Server? I'm guessing they are from the context of your posts. How
are you viewing the other calendars?

They are using Exchange. Sigh. Guess it's all or nothing without
import/export. Thanks for your help!
