I have inherited an Access Application and Form that has a main form and 5
sub-forms. In an attempt to make the application smart I have created a
command button and written vb-code to populate the sub-forms and a few fields
on the main from various external data sources using Microsoft ADO Active-X.
The problem that I am having is the sub-form data doesn't apply appear. The
data will always appear by moving to the next record and back from the main
form record source. Additionally 90% of the time the data will correctly
appear with Main Menu/ToolBar| Records|Refresh command is used.
I'm obviously not real familiar with the Access Forms Object model, but have
the following specific questions:
1. What could be causing this?
2. Is there a short-cut key to the Main Menu/ToolBar| Records|Refresh command?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
thanks!
