Syncing OneNote 2007 on laptop with OneNote 6.1 on Mogul HTC

I've recently started using OneNote 2007 on my laptop (since I upgraded my
Office applications to Office 2007). I'm using Vista Business on the laptop
and WM 6.1 on my PPC/PDA/Smartphone which is a Sprint HTC Mogul. Other
Office applications are syncing just fine, but OneNote is not. The mobile
OneNote notes and the OneNote notebooks on the laptop remain resolutely
separate! On the laptop, under File/Sync, all the options are greyed out
except 'Work Offline'. If I go into Windows Mobile Device Centre/Mobile
Device Settings/Change content sync settings, Microsoft Office OneNote is
ticked, but if I click on 'Sync settings' I get a message which says 'There
are no settings for this item type'. I think from reading other posts I need
to somehow get the OneNote MOBILE notes into a separate section that the
desktop OneNote will then recognise and sync with but no idea how to do this.
At this stage, I'm not wanting to share any OneNote items (except with
myself, on my mobile device). Any help gratefully received. I really like
OneNote and I'd like to be able to take advantage of it when on the move...

Please ignore this post - I was obviously being thick (and also new to
OneNote) and have just realised that the notes ARE syncing ok, they are in
the OneNote Mobile notebook (tab on left-hand side of OneNote page on
laptop)... Doh!

Thanks Rainald, I saw that suggestion in several posts but I didn't quite
understand what it is or what it does (perhaps because I yet lack experience
of using OneNote and ON Mobile). But thanks for the suggestion, I will look
further into it.

Thanks for the reply. If any further questions pls ask them.

Have fun with ON Mobile. It really is most valuable for me.

Hello again Rainald, I hope you're still following this thread ;-)

I’ve finally made time to experiment with this , I downloaded it from that
link and ran setup.exe but nothing seems to happen and when I sync my
handheld device, no new programs are installed. What am I doing wrong, do
you think?

YES ;-)

Sorry, I do not understand what you are after and what you are trying to
do :-( :-(
You are expecting "new programs" to be found in the mobile device??

The Powertoy is just for copying selected pages from the selected
notebook to the section use for synching in the "OneNote Mobile"
notebook. Nothing more.
What am I doing wrong, do you think?

Possibly expecting too much?

Hello again Rainald. I must have missed the notification when you replied,
so I didn't realise you had, until today, so sorry for the lack of
acknowledgement.

Yes, sorry, I thought it was a version of 'Send to One Note' for the *mobile
device*

I've installed it and find it useful, thanks. I'm still not sure how
syncing is supposed to work between the laptop and my mobile device, but
rather than go off-thread, I will start a new post.

PS Just found the solution in another post, everything working fine now,
syncing in both directions :)
