Syncronise 2 Computers

I have 2 networked computers, both running Outlook. My
wife is at one in the front office, and I am at the other
way in the back office. Sometimes I deleted un-necessary
mail or respond to mail but they are still appearing as
new un-opened mail on her computer and visa versa. Even
if I permanently delete the mail from mine, it is still on
hers. Is there a way to sync both computers to update
once one of us has responded or read new mail.
