Syntax Error: Japanese Character in VBA Editor

hihi,,

when i open the access in my office, everything its ok..

however when I open it at home, it breaks at the first japanese character
with error message "compile error: syntax error."


i dun understand why this is happening, my home is access 2003, office is
2000... pls help

VBA editor doesn't support multiple character sets
properly. It uses a code page based on the system
setting, even when it lets you use uni-code characters.

You can try to set the home machine to use the same
Code Page as office machine, or you can try like this:
