hi,
i do alot of combination and i didnt succeed :( to insert the boot
information:

strSQL = "insert into Exception values (" & Me!obligor_Id & ",rsobligor(0))"
dbs.Execute strSQL, dbFailOnError

Is rsobligor a local recordset variable?

If so then it should be:
strSQL = "insert into Exception values (" & Me!obligor_Id & "," &
rsobligor(0) & ")"

"didnt succeed" doesn't tell us much...

Assuming you want the value from rsobligor and not just a literal string),
try:

strSQL = "insert into Exception values (" & Me!obligor_Id & ", " &
rsobligor(0) & ")"

That assumes that Exception has only 2 fields in it, and that both of them
are numeric. If that's not the case, post back with details of the Exception
table.
