I could use a bit of advice on just how little machine I can use for Project
Server. I've installed Server 2K3 w/o AD on an IBM Netfinity P2 Xeon w/ 512M
RAM and plenty of disk space.
I learned I need SQL server for Project Server so I'll have SQL Server and
Project Server running on this server. I'm not sure at this point if I need
to install Sharepoint services. No other apps will be installed and the only
other role will be to store projects, drawings, and similar data files.
Three users will hit the server for Project use and collaboration.
Is the hardware capable of running these apps w/ decent performance? Growth
is hard to predict at this point but I understand if we add people and/or add
many projects the server willl slow down.
