system restore get compile error message opening excel/word

My pc kept crashing with Bugcode_USB_Driver so I performed a system restore.
Now When opening excel and word I get compile error in hidden module
AutoExecNew message and a similar message when closing. I tried resetting the
system restore but it has not fixed the problem.
Any helpful suggestions please?
