System Restore in Windows95

How can i restore my system to a previous setting/state?
How is this done (if at all possible) in WIN95?
Thinking it is a trivial procedure, I chose it as a first step
to correct a problem that showed up with my old computer..

Try a newsgroup devoted to the Windows Operating System -- if there is one
(it is 'way, 'way out of date) for Windows 95, specifically, in the
microsoft.public newsgroups, that would be best. This newsgroup is about
Microsoft Access database software, but it is easy to get here by mistake
from the Microsoft online user interface.
