Tab button

Hi,

I can't get my Tab button to work correctly. I does not make that indent it
usually does to the text.
I have made sure that the settings regarding "auto corrections" are set
correct but it still does not work.

What can I do ?

Are you saying that in the AutoCorrect Options (Alt+T+A) on the AutoFormat
As You Type tab you have "Set left and first indent with tabs and
backspaces" selected and if you place your insertion point at the beginning
of a paragraph and press Tab it doesn't work?

Maybe if you explain in more detail what you are experiencing and what
you would like to see happen. Have you read the help information on Tabs?
Are you aware that there are several different kinds of tabs? Have you
tried this on a new document, have you tried it on a old document?

I wonder if Normal DOT has been mugged.

Hi Beth,

yes, that is what happens (or doesn't happen) ... I have tried on a new
document and have no problems there - it works there.
