Tab clears field

I have a form. It has a comi box for the first field. When i depress the tab
key to move onto the next field the name field clears. I do have the data
entry set to yes so on open the form is clear but can anybody tell me why it
is doing that?

In Form Design View goto the Properties Box - Other and set the Cycle
Property to "Current Record"

I see this question at least a dozen times a week! Don't know why in the
world Access chose "All Records" as the default rather than "Current Record!"
