TAB key

I know how to use the tab key, am just confused from looking at the
horizontal and vertical rulers and trying to figure out which is the correct
alignment for text when using the tab keys, vertical or horizontal.....The
tick marks on the horizontal ruler tell me possibly vertical, but then I look
at the text moving horizontally when using the tab key....again, I am just
confused! Sorry

I think you may have inadvertently posted this to an incorrect newsgroup, as
it sounds as though you're asking about Word. This newsgroup is for
questions about Access, the database product that's part of Office
Professional.

Microsoft's Help system has landed you in the wrong newsgroup: this
one is for the database program Microsoft Access.

Please use the dropdown box (the one that says "Access" by default)
to select a more appropriate newsgroup. It appears that your question
would be more appropriate in microsoft.public.word or one of its
subgroups.
