If you set the Back Style of the tab control to Transparent, it appears to
be the colour of the form's detail section.
That's about all you can achieve, and not even that works if you are using
Windows XP with themes turned on.

Thanks! I just created a Rect to fit the entire Tabbed Page sent it to the
back anf filled it with the color I wanted.

Neat idea and it could be expanded to give a different color to each page.
