"Tabbed" Powerpoint Template/background

R

Reg Guy

I am trying to find a powerpoint template/background that lets you show
tabs as an "organizer" as you move through a presentation. I once saw a
brifing with it and it was very effective to keep people in sync with
where you were in the brief. I can't find one anywhere. An HTML web
version similar to what I am talking about is at the URL below to give
you an idea --not exactly but sorta-- of what I am looking for.
Appreciate any help.Thanks - RG

Look into this free add-in, it does not show what section but where at in
relation to number of slides: http://www.indezine.com/addin/thermometer/

The other option is to build a custom timeline, with section names, manually
on each slide.

Check out the "Tabbed Browsing" example on my Web site:

Click on "Examples from Real People" and scroll down to the 7th example.
Ollie Killingback had the same interest as you, and he wrote something and
generously let me put it on my site. Beware, this example uses VBA and might
require some advanced skills to do more than the the two tabs, but it is
worth checking out.
