Tabbing in Excel

Simple question: Is there a way to edit the direction of
the Tabbing feature. Building a spreadsheet with
locked/unlocked cells and need to change the default
of "right to left" to "down then over". Any help?

I believe you simply need to go to Tools, then
Options, then Edit. The third choice down on the left will
enable you to choose which way your cursor moves next.
