Table, autofit , fixed column width not working in Word 2003

Last month I posted a question regarding changing the default size for photos being inserted into a word document. Graham wrote back: Select the column that holds the pictures (before they are inserted). Then from the Table menu select autofit > fixed column width. The inserted pictures will adapt to the width of the column.

That worked great in Word 2002. However, Monday we ugraded to Word 2003 and now the pictures are being cut off - sometimes even from the top. What can we do to insert the photos into a fixed cell and have them fit again?

It should work in exactly the same way - ensure that the insert option is
'in line' - see tools > options > view.
