Table autoformat

I'm a relatively new user to FrontPage 2003. I created a table and wished to
use the Table Autoformat command and the command is greyed out. I tried
clicking in a cell, or using Table, Select, Table first. The command is still
greyed out. I did a full install when putting the program on my PC. I am in
the Design pane and not the Preview pane.

Thanks for help on such an elementary task!

.
Choose Insert from the Table drop down menu, then choose
Table again. In the dialog box make the settings that you
desire and click OK.

Thanks for your response, Chuck, but the Table Autoformat command is still
greyed out. Any suggestions?

This function works for me. The only thing I see you did not mention is
whether or not you are using layout tables? It is greyed out for me until I
click on layout tables, then whenever I hightlight the layout table with the
white arrow, I can bring up the autoformat command. Does anyone know what
this autoformat command does?

Tools Page Options General - select the Enable layout tools for existing tables
Right click your table for table properties and do the same
