Table Borders Appear After Copy

[CMN]

I have some tables without any borders. When I do
a "Select All" and paste the entire document to a new
document, the table now has a single-line border instead
of no border.

Any help?

Assuming Word 2000 or above, that could be because the default Table
AutoFormat in the target document is different from that in the source
document. This works the same way as styles and other formatting. See

That solved my problem; it was the AutoFormat setting in
the target document.
