table captions

Why does it show "Table 1.1" but it inserts "Table 0.1"???
I have indeed identified my chapter header1 with number "1".

Bonjour Jean-Guy,

No, my "Track Change" is not activated. I've tried both ways, and it
doesn't make a difference. In "Bullets & Numbering", and in "Outline
Numbered", I identified my Header 1 with the title "Chapter", with the
numbering starting at 1. When I go to insert a caption for my first table in
chapter 1, it indicates "Table 1.1", but it inserts it as "Table 0.1". When
I insert a second caption, just to test, it inserts "Table 0.2".

I found the problem... I was trying to identify two different "Header 1's",
but you can't do that in this case.
