Table Error Message

Have table with Autonumber as KEY & indexed(no dupes),
also have First & Lastname fields, neither indexed. Have
relationships with four other tables, all related with KEY
to an IDNumber in the related tables.

If I try to enter a last & first name that are identical
to another record, despite the fact that the realtionship
is to the KEY field; I get the following error message:
The changes you requested to the table were
not successful because they would create duplicate
values in the index, primary key, or relationship.
Change the data in the field or fields that contain
duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the
index to permit duplicate entries and try again.
