Table & form Problem

Jim Robson

I going to do an Microsoft Office Course in the near future and have bought
some books to get a head start, but I can't resolve this problem with tables
and forms in Access. When I first started using Access it worked as I assume
it should with the Table & Form Wizard laying out the Tables & Forms in the
normal manner. Now I find that when I use the Wizards the Table or Form
presents a mirror image to what it used to.

I will explain further, in the book I'm using for Access, Microsoft
Office Access 2003, Step By Step; the form on page 86 is normal. When I
construct a form now the Label controls is on the right and the Text control
is on the left. Also when I construct a new Table the columns display in
reverse order, i.e.. the Autonumber column is on the right and the other
items are displayed right to left.

One other point Tables & Forms that I made previously are still in the
correct format so I guess that I must have changed a property somehow but I
have tried to change the properties back to the default setting, including
the Form Left-To-Right but to no avail.
Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
Regards, Jim.

Could your locale settings have gotten changed where certain nations read
right to left rather than left to right? I've never seen this, so this is my
best guess.
