Table Linking??

Hello,
What I would like to do is link one table to another but have the second
table use a fields alpha/numeric info and add some alpha/numeric info to it.
then I would like to have a third table use that new alpha/numeric entry and
add to it some more to keep everything linked in the back ground for quering.
Can this be done?

Hi Ryan,

It can be done, but probably shouldn't. If you tell us a bit more about
the real-world situation you need to model, someone will be able to make
some suggestions for a suitable structure.
