Table links FE/BE from different locations

I am currently creating a DB which will be FE/BE design on 2 different
network folders. How do i create a link from my FE to these two network
folders containing the BE? I already have the links to one folder yet not
sure how to entend the links to the other folder as well.

File, Get External Data, Link... just specify another database.

I have tried that step yet i need to link additional tables from another DB
from another folder/location. It is like joining two separate DB and using
one front end to retrieve information from both of them. Simply going though
the step of getting external data just add additional table links yet
information is not being obtained from 2nd DB. Is there another way?
