Table of content (figures, tables)

Hi,

I'm trying to create a list of my tables on Word. I'm
able to create the list automatically with captions, but
the description of the table that is on line below
the "Table 1" doesn't appear on the list of table. Is
there a way to include the description of the Table in
the list (not manually)? The exemple below shows what I
would like to have, the (=) means break page. Thanks for
your help.

If you have used Insert | Caption to insert your table titles, this will be
handled automatically when you create a list of tables. I'm guessing you've
done this manually since you have separate paragraphs for the table numbers
and table titles. One approach to this is to include the table title style
in the TOC instead of the table number style. Then format the TOC style with
Table # autonumbering.

Thanks for the reply,

When I use Insert | Caption and the "Table 1" and "Title
of the table" are beside both information appear in the
list of tables, but as soon as I move the title to a line
below (as I want it to be) the "title of the table"
doesn't appear in the list of tables.

I didn't understand the last part of your reply... Is
there a online tutorial or something to read about this
issue?

Instead of:

Table 1^p
^p
Money vs Time

where ^p = paragraph mark (Enter key)
try:

Table 1^l
^l
Money vs Time

where ^l = manual line break (Shift + Enter)

Chad's solution should work for you. If not, post back and I'll give more
specific instructions.
