Table of Figures problem , Table of figures includes body of figur

I made a table of figures in my thesis , but I see some figures ( body of the
figures ) in the table of figures , how to remove them ,I tried to remove
them by changing the caption and updating the field . but I didn't succeed.
any help is appreciated.

Hi, I am having the exact same problem with my thesis. I have tried to make
sure the figure heading isn’t linked to the figure in some way and it doest
seem to be. It only happens for some of my figures and I can’t see anything
different between these and others which aren’t imported into the table of
figures.
Any suggestions would be gladly received, or if you work out how to stop
this happening Omar, please let me know!
