I have importerd some data into a table from excel (this will be a process
that happens on a monthly basis). Some of the fields include < than values
and -, as well as numbers. So Access sets the field as TEXT. I would like
to create a graph from the data (after I have run a query to get exact
information I need). However as it is currently stored at TEXT access plots
the wrong information (eg 1 and 2 depending on where there is something in
the record). Is there anyway I can either force Access to believe it is a
number field or remove the < / - and then get Access to automatically believe
that the remaining records are NUMBERS or do I need to format the information
in excess before I import it into Access?
Thank you
