Table rowcount and colcount

It would be useful if I did see rowcount and colcount on Table properties
dialog window.

There's also the old (pre-2000) "TableFormatCell" formatting dialog still
available, though hidden.
It shows the row number and column number of the cell you're just in, or the
range (say "Height of rows 17-23", "Width of columns 3-177" ...) if you've
selected part or all of a table.

Just checked it in Word 2007, and it's still there.

You could put it on a toolbar or in a menu (Tools > Customize, choose
"TableFormatCell" from the long list "Category: All Commands"), or put it on
the QAT in Word 2007.

In a macro, you can bring up the dialog with
Dialogs(wdDialogTableFormatCell).Show

Klaus

Knock me over with a feather... The regulat "Table > Properties..." dialog
has the same info.
Never noticed.

Dang! I knew I'd seen that, but I forgot to select the whole table when I
went to Table Properties, so I thought I must have remembered wrong.
