Tables and Relationships Deleted From Database

Hi,

I'm running Access 2002 application, and every so often after unplanned
computer reset (got to test all scenarios..) the relationships and sometimes
a table are deleted from the database.

Has anyone seen this things happenning? Knows why it happen, if i can detect
it, prevent it, reconstruct the database after it happens?

thanks,
Lio

Lio,

Can't say I have ever seen your scenario before. However, I do know you could easily create a batch script to backup the .mdb file in a diferent network folder.

Not possible in my case. I'm working continusly with the db, so any backup
wouldn't be good enough. I'm looking for a way to either prevent this from
happening or knowing exactly what was deleted (which tables mainly, because
all the relationships are deleted)

Make a backup
Repair & Compact the Database
Try opening it with the /Decompile switch
