Tables Headings Keep with next

I've got a 600 page document with more than 200 tables. I
want to use the Keep lines together feature, with the keep
with next feature to ensure that a tables heading is never
separated from the table, and that the table never
produced a widowed or orphaned row. I've selected the
heading text and the first seveal rows in a table, and
applied the keep together, keep with next command. And,
the heading stays at the bottom of the page, while the
table starts on the next page. There is plenty of room on
the page for the table and its heading. I don't want to
use Hard page breaks. Any ideas/suggestions??

Hi Tracy,

Check to see whether the paragraphs above the table hading are also
formatted using Keep With next. If they are, clear that formatting.

turns out I had no hard returns. I use only space above
and below. I had to enter a hard return. >-----Original
