I have a report that is based on a table.
The contents of this table is created by running through a recordset and
adding the records to it.
Immediately after adding the records (in the same procedure) I use the
docmd.openreport - however, the report always returns empty - even though
there are records in the table.
If I just open the report after the procedure has run by double clicking on
it all the data is there.
I have found that if I use a DAO recordset when adding the records to the
table the report works fine.
If I use and ADO recordset then the problem occurs.
I am using AccessXP fully service packed. As I am trying not to use DAO
(supposedly old technology) has anyone any ideas why it doesn' t work with
an ADO connection to the table.
