Tables Problem

I am using Microsoft Office 2008 with a MacBook Pro, OSX 10.6.8. I am
working a table in Word and have done something that I can't seem to
undo. Previously, when entering text into a cell, if the cell was not
large enough to accommodate the text, the cell would increase in size
vertically. I have made some adjustments to some of the columns to
make them longer and have left some alone. Now, when I enter some
text into a cell that I have not made wider, the text just continues
onto the right into oblivion, never to be seen again. What can I do
to make the text wrap within the cell and make the row vertically
larger again as before?

Can't answer for Word:Mac, but in WinWord, there's a setting at Table
Properties | Cell | Cell Options to "Wrap text." Perhaps this has gotten
unchecked? Or, if it does eventually wrap, make sure that you didn't
inadvertently drag the paragraph indent marker rather than the cell
boundary, thus creating a negative right indent. The latter seems to me more
likely.

That was it: a negative right index: it was around -10 cm. I brought
it back to zero and the whole table readjusted so that the cells now
adjust to the text as before. Thanx!
