Tables splitting across page

OK. I'm working on a table and for some reason, my table gets split - I
have one row that shaded to distinguish it - you know, it has the
month/date, etc. but for some reason, my table is breaking onto
another page. It's cool that it breaks across because the entire table can
not fit on one page, but now i have a half page completely blank. How
can it break so that just the last few rows separate onto the next page?

Am I making sense? I'm so confused and baffled right now. I'm using
Word X.

Sometimes there is just to much data to fill only one
page. You can try the following:

* Adjust the line spacing.
* Condense the text.
* Adjust the paragraph spacing.
